My Passion

Jenny Laminack, MPA, PA-C


In working with Elevate-Derm, my goal is to help build a network of PAs and NPs who can rely on each other as resources for further clinical knowledge and camaraderie. Early in my career, I was the only Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in a dermatology clinic. I value my first two years as a dermatology physician assistant and learned crucial information, but I also struggled. It was only after our clinic added a nurse practitioner that I genuinely excelled and felt comfortable. Simply having the ability to use another APP as a sounding board for ideas and implementing treatment plans gave me the confidence to provide the best patient care.

I have been on the leadership team of Elevate-Derm since 2021, and I can honestly say in the years I have been a part of this organization, I have grown tremendously as a provider and colleague. I attribute my personal growth as a dermatology physician assistant to the knowledge gained through continuing education and the community established among my peers. Elevate-Derm has been an integral part of this growth. It offers opportunities for continuing education, networking, and a general fellowship among dermatology APPs that is unmatched. I feel a responsibility and passion to reach out to other APPs to join this incredible group and offer them a chance to experience these same opportunities I have found so valuable.



Jenny Laminack, MPA, PA-C resides in Alpharetta, GA where she practices medical and cosmetic dermatology at Atlanta Center for Dermatologic Diseases at the Alpharetta and Cumming, GA locations. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia Physician Assistant Program in 2015 where she also was awarded the John F. Beard Award for compassionate patient care. Jenny is also the current president of the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistant State Society. In her free time, Jenny enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband. She has been on the planning committee with Elevate-Derm since 2021.
